Treat all residents of Orland Park with the respect they deserve.

Listen with an open mind to what residents want the Village Board to focus on like public safety and recreational programs.

Improve Staff Morale

Increase staffing levels and improve the morale in the Police Department. Improve the working environment for the entire Village staff professionalism is valued and service to the public improves.

Fiscal Integrity

Better manage your tax dollars with sound financial management and real transparency and work hard to reduce the tax burden by eliminating wasteful spending.

Collaborative Solutions

Rebuild relationships with other units of government so we get more roads and major projects done, for example with state grants.

Ethics Enforcement

Create tougher ethics ordinances and enforce them, which forbids Village vendors from having any financial relationships with any Board members and requires Board members to disclose their conflicts of interest.

During our petition drive, we talked with 4,236 voters in Orland Park. They were very clear about what they wanted and what they didn’t want.

Fact vs fiction

Pekau claims "state law" mandated he take the $150,000 annual salary 

State law does not require any public official from taking a salary. In fact Jim Dodge did not take his village salary for 7 years. 

Jim Dodge NEVER voted to give any public official a pension.

The village did not lose money on 9750. The village made a profit of $6 million.

Comptroller did suspend payments because the village failed to file audits for two years in a row.

The auditor “identified certain deficiencies in internal control” of village finances.
